According to media reports, collaborator Ivan Tkach died after a car explosion in occupied Melitopol on March 14.
Since December 2022, the Russian occupiers have been claiming Tkach in the criminal role of “director of “Town Transport” enterprise”, and as the press reported, it was this figurant who was supposed to provide illegal transportation between the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as the occupied Crimea.
It should be noted that in this area, on the one hand, the Russian occupiers seek to demonstrate, as part of criminal propaganda, supposedly some kind of “official passenger communication” of the occupied peninsula and mainland regions of Ukraine.
On the other hand, the aggressor uses the transport capabilities of collaborators to transport the occupying contingent and for the criminal deportation of the population of the mainland occupied areas, mainly young people, to the Crimea and further to Russia.
The deceased Tkach was undoubtedly “valuable” for the occupation administration, since before the large-scale invasion he controlled the Melitopol company “Transit”, which was engaged in passenger transportation, with a staff of more than 20 drivers. Therefore, among other things, Tkach was able to criminally ensure, as the press reports, the movement of the personnel of the armed forces of the aggressor and terrorists “Wagner” to the Zaporizhzhya region.
It is noteworthy that in 2017 Mykola Volik, a former deputy of the Melitopol town council and the head of a number of public utilities, was noticed among the founders of the same “Transit” company in 2017, who, under occupation, was declared by the aggressor to the criminal role of “deputy head of administration”.
In December 2022, an explosion was reported, after which Volik was probably injured.
