On March 22, the 3rd Strategic Forum “The Future of Crimea” started in Transcarpathia, held by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center with the support of the Representative Office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine.
The forum participants included representatives of the academic environment of Ukraine, experts from the Expert Network of the Crimean Platform and the Association of the Reintegration of Crimea, public figures, and journalists. Among the scientists are doctors and candidates of legal, geographical, economic, political, sociological, historical and pedagogical sciences.
As part of the III Strategic Forum, experts analyzed the work of the Crimean Platform, in particular, its Expert Network, discussing new ideas and proposals for improving their activities. In addition, participants will work on developing advocacy actions and campaigns “The Future of Crimea”.
During the forum, the Chairman of the Board of the Center, Eskender Bariev, made a presentation of the draft regulations and internal policies of the Expert Network of the Crimean Platform.
Professor Borys Babin made projects’ presentations regsarding Procedures for selecting experts and Methods for assessing expert materials, after which the forum experts discussed these documents, making their suggestions and comments. Experts of the Association, candidates of sciences Eduard Pleshko and Anna Prikhodko, as well as Olesya Tsybulko took an active part in the relevant discussion.
