As in previous years, on May 2, the Crimean collaborators and their curators, “strictly on schedule”, opened the “floodgates of hatred” on the occasion of another anniversary of the death of people in the Odesa House of Trade Unions in 2014.
Hate and genocidal calls in epithets are becoming more and more, and the Kremlin’s manuals on their statements this year have been extended not only to the Crimean and Sevastopol gauleiters, but also to characters of a “lower level”: now not only the operetta “head of government” Yuriy Gotsanyuk, but also the “official resources of the district administrations” of the peninsula have begun to talk about the “Odessa Khatyn” synchronously.
We already wrote last year about the tragicomic nature of this annual “minute of hate”, given the long-term “Crimean adventures” of Vladimir Bodelan, who in 2014 was the head of the Odesa regional emergency management department and actually condoned the mass deaths of people in the fire in the Trade Union House.
Although Bodelan was also accused of this tragedy by many pro-Russian figures, this did not prevent him from being noted in 2016 in the criminal role of “head of the center for strategic research of civil defense” of the occupiers in Simferopol, since 2019 becoming a criminal “assistant” of Aksyonov, and since October 2020 – the equally criminal “deputy head of the administration of the Simferopol district”, “disappearing from the radar” only after the “resignation” of his then “boss” Dionis Aleksanov.
We wrote that, as part of a large-scale aggression, in May 2023, Bodelan was rather secretly “appointed” by the occupiers as a criminal “deputy governor of the Kherson region”, although earlier the Russian special services were clearly preparing him not “for Genichesk”, but for “Odesa”.
At the end of February last year, aggressor-controlled “bloggers” began to advertise that same Bodelan as a fake “head of the Kherson region representative office in Moscow”.
In this guise, Bodelan “shines” to this day, literally a couple of days ago telling online several fakes about the “steady growth of education” at the occupiers’ “scientific and practical conference” in Livadia, and before that delighting Minsk with a statement about a “still” independent Belarus.
However, now the absurdity of the stream of threats from the “Crimean authorities” broadcasting about the “lack of investigation” and “results” on the events of eleven years ago is added by the fresh decision of the European Court of Human Rights in the case of “Vyacheslavova and others”, in which in the most detailed manner, literally bit by bit and minute by minute, all the facts about the mass riots in Odessa in May 2014 and the fire in the Trade Union House were established.
Let us recall that this decision, among other things, also established the Russian trace in inciting the situation in the city, and the criminal role of Bodelan, as well as the then police chief Dmitry Fuchedzhi, who is also now “canned” in Russia by the special services of the aggressor.
However, in the parallel reality of the occupation regime, neither this decision, nor the European Court, nor international law as a whole obviously do not exist.
