As aggressor-controlled “Krymstat” was forced to admit, the demographic “Crimean breakthrough” continues to “break through the bottom”, and these trends are clearly irreversible. Thus, in 2023, 14,467 children were born in occupied Crimea, which is 5.5 % less than the maximum “sagging” figure for 2022 of 15,310 children. In Sevastopol, the numbers are the same “consolidated”, 3709 children, which is 6.8% less than the figure for 2022, and 13.1% less than in 2019, with its 4267 newborns. At the same time, in the Crimea in 2023, at least 9,466 more people died than were born.

Also on the occupied peninsula “a decrease in the number of marriages is recorded”; in Sevastopol in 2023 this “indicator” was “3913 couples”, that is, 330 less than in the previous year, and in Crimea – “11449 couples”, that is 1167 less comparing with 2022. In the Crimea, the number of “divorces” also increased, to 7132, which is 160 more than a year ago. It is noteworthy that at the same time “Krymstat” points to a relative “decrease in mortality” in 2023, which can be explained by the number of Crimean residents killed and missing in the ranks of the aggressor according to completely different “statistics”.
