On May 4, at a meeting with the Kremlin dictator, Russian first deputy minister of transport Andrey Kostyuk announced that in June they plan to launch illegal “sea cruises on the “Prince Vladimir” liner from Sochi to Crimea”

True, it was immediately “modestly specified” that “tickets for cruises on the liner are not yet available for purchase” and “the schedule for 2023 is being approved by the tour operator”

The aggressor’s propaganda immediately predictably began to “exalt” this “unprecedented achievement” with the long-suffering elderly ship, which was proudly called the “only sea cruise liner” of Russia.

Let us recall that the epic with the liner has been going on for several years, and illegal cruises to the occupied Crimea on the liner were interrupted before 2020.

In 2021, the Russian invaders frantically prepared the liner for navigation, but were able to announce the first illegal “cruise” in September, which, however, never took place.

Then the company offered “passengers to postpone cruise bookings for 2022”, which, due to the subsequent large-scale Russian aggression, became a real “black mark”, naturally, navigation in 2022 did not take place either.

It is interesting that a day after Andrey Kostyuk’s promises, representatives of the Sochi seaport denied his report and indicated that “Prince Vladimir” would definitely not sail from Sochi to the Crimea in the summer of 2023.

It is noteworthy that at the same meeting Kostyuk publicly lied to Putin that “the “Kometa” [passenger speed boat] has been going from Sevastopol to Yalta since May 1”, which of course is not there, but the Kremlin obviously prefers to “believe subordinates” about such trifles.
