As the aggressor’s tourist aggregators admitted, the “Crimean bookings” illegally included in the alleged “bookings across Russia” in 2023 went beyond the “thirty priority areas”.
Earlier, in 2021, the Crimea was in “first place in bookings”, and after the start of large-scale Russian aggression in Ukraine, it dropped to “9th place”.
As the “Ostrovok” portal stated, for the “upcoming May holidays” in 2023, the “share of Crimea” in the illegal “total booking structure” was less than 1%, and a year earlier it was 8%, and in 2021 – 30 %.
The “Sutochno” service also acknowledged the decline in illegal “demand for accommodation in the Crimea” in the daily rent segment. Regarding the illegal “booking rating”, the general director of the service, Yuri Kuznetsov, pointed out that “there are very few bookings in Crimea this summer. Only Yalta is in the top ten in terms of demand, as an analysis of early bookings as of mid-March shows.”
This situation will obviously not be affected by the fake statements of the criminal “Minister of resorts and tourism” of the invaders Vadim Volchenko about allegedly illegal “17 new passenger trains” and “new groups of direct cars” from Chelyabinsk, Rostov-on-Don and Ufa to the occupied Crimea.
The fact is that, as our Association has repeatedly pointed out earlier, there is a total capacity of the captured invaders of the Crimean railways.
Therefore, no games with “train numbering” and “trailer cars” from the Russia’s cities, already illegally connected with the Crimea by rail, will increase the real volume of criminal passenger traffic to the peninsula.
