As already reported, on February 28, serious accidents occurred on two Crimean main water conduits at once, near Yevpatoria and near Krasnoperekopsk, the consequences of which were eliminated at least until the end of March 1. The occupiers’ propaganda in the person of the criminal “deputy minister” Roman Voskolupov stated that two accidents at the same time were allegedly “just a coincidence. Because in Krasnoperekopsk there was mechanical damage during earthworks. In Yevpatoria, technical deterioration of the water pipeline section”.

With Krasnoperekopsk, everything is really quite prosaic – the main water conduit was damaged during the invaders’s so-called “fortification work”. Since, after the damage, the dirt got into the system all day on March 1, the collaborators “were forced” to carry out additional, enhanced chlorination of water, about which the population bothered to warn “backdating”, when it was impossible to hide the stench from the “cradle of life” from the taps.

In Yevpatoria, the situation is not so obvious at first glance, and breaks in the main water pipeline in the area near the Pribrezhna Station happened with enviable regularity throughout 2022. Now, once again, the residents of the city are busy waiting “until they fill the system”, with a statement of the fact that “you won’t envy those who have water. A turbid liquid flows from the tap, with sand and silt”.

The fake “deputy general director” of the illegal “enterprise” “Water of Crimea” Igor Danilovich on this occasion proposed a “version” of the alleged “fatigue” of the 1989 water conduit, which “runs in salty soils next to Lake Sasyk-Sivash and near the railway”. However, collaborators do not put forward versions why there have never been such breakthroughs before.

At the same time, we should not forget that since 2014, the occupiers have been laying pipelines from the same Yevpatoria to supply water to their garrisons in Mirny and Novoozerny settlements, as well as the villages of the Saki District. Since water is needed there, including for “technical needs”, including the provision of ship groups, situations of its “peak consumption” objectively arise, for which the Yevpatoria pipelines of “peacetime” were simply not designed.
