According to the occupiers’ propaganda, on December 17, “animals from the local zoo in Kakhovka, located on the left bank of the Kherson region, were loaded into the transport of the «Taigan» lion park” and later were illegally “transferred” to the occupied Crimea. It is reported that collaborator Oleg Zubkov, the so-called “owner of the Crimean safari park” «Taigan», allegedly was “personally engaged” in the criminal “transfer of animals”.
Zubkov himself previously starred in the invaders’ propaganda video, announcing this kidnapping, and later stated that “only small, low-value animals remained in the zoo corner in Kakhovka,” and that the theft allegedly took place “at the request” of the criminal Kherson collaborator Volodimir Saldo.
Assessing this hype, it is worth noting not only that the Russian invaders tried to make a clumsy meme in the criminal “glorification” of their aggression from a raccoon previously abducted by the same Zubkov in Kherson.
Also, such a fake and criminal “evacuation” may be correlated with the recent statement by the head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalya Gumenyuk, that the withdrawal of part of the aggressor’s troops from Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka could be a trap, and that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are closely monitoring this situation.
