On November 15, Yalta Gauleiter Yanina Pavlenko “blew up the airwaves” of the occupiers’ propaganda by promising to sign a “treaty on twinning between Yalta and one of the Uzbek cities”, as well as “Livadia settlement and one of the districts of Bukhara” at a “meeting with the delegation of Uzbekistan”.
However, at this “high-level meeting” more “down-to-earth” issues were also discussed, namely the state of cleaning of the territory adjacent to the Yalta sanatorium “Uzbekistan” on Bakhchisaraiska Street.
This “section of the discussion” was much more organic, since the practical purpose of the visit of the “Uzbek delegation” to occupied Yalta was the presentation of the “new general director” of the aforementioned sanatorium; instead of Mukhitdin Kudbidinov, who has been “developing Crimea” for the last two years, Murodzhon Yuldashev will become the new director.
Since 2015, the occupiers have “registered” the sanatorium as a “private institution”, with a hidden “owner” and previously the “general directors” there were Antonina Shlyaeva and Iftikhor Kadirov.
However, the actual owner of the sanatorium is mentioned both on its website and in the current flow of occupiers’ propaganda, this is the “Resort and Health Joint Stock Company “Uzbekistan” (“O’zbekiston dam olish-sog’lomlashtirish” aksiyadorlik jamiyati), which, among other things, calmly registered the website of the Yalta sanatorium as its own in Uzbekistan.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the general director of the aforementioned Uzbek structure, Oybek Usanov, illegally came to “present” Yuldashev to the Yalta gauleiters.
The co-owners of this Uzbek JSC are the “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant” (“NKMK Zhamgarmasi”) and the “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant”, and the supervisory board includes both representatives of these structures and the former general director of “NKMK” Nazirbek Rakhmonov, with 2022 appointed khokim of the city of Zarafshan, as well as Asilbek Khudyarov.
Previously, Khudyarov was the head of the Main Medical Department under the Administration of the Uzbekistan President, then he became the first deputy head of the Department of Social Development of the same Administration, and, “concurrently” since January 2024, he has been declared acting Minister of Health of Uzbekistan.
Obviously, it is Khudyarov who is the curator of this illegal activity on the occupied peninsula. Thus, if the current promises of Yanina Pavlenko in the field of “friendship treaties” are not soon forgotten, the sanctions lists of a number of countries will soon be replenished with a list of Uzbek firms and “especially respected” names.
