According to the aggressor-controlled “media”, a “new type of telephone fraud” has appeared on the occupied peninsula.

Its essence allegedly boils down to the fact that the callers introduce themselves as “police officers” and declare that the “personal data” of their interlocutor “was stolen by a bank employee who, on their behalf, transfers funds for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”

Further, the callers frighten the interlocutor with the prospect of a long term of imprisonment for supposedly “high treason” and offer him to “secure the remaining money” by connecting the “bank security service” and suggesting the interlocutor “transfer your funds to the indicated accounts” and “take out loans urgently”.

In general, “telephone banking” with all kinds of call items is an integral part of the reality of life in the occupied territory, where the line between pure fakes and the criminal and absurd demands of punishers and the “administration” is often difficult to discern.

However, the above scheme has now arisen “not from scratch”, since the aggressor’s punishers are really actively persecuting for supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, frankly fabricating individual episodes against “objectionable persons”.

Moreover, in March 2023, the aggressor’s “judicial practice” went through the criminal “qualification” of such support for the Ukrainian army as allegedly “treason.”

At least two such cases of detention with such criminal “charges” are already known, in Moscow and Khabarovsk, and in the latter case, we are clearly talking about the persecution by Russian punishers of a member of the protest movement “I/we Furgal”.

Obviously, a new story arose with the “bank security service” against the background of these cases of the most brutal repressions, promoted by the aggressors’ propaganda.
