Earlier, it was repeatedly reported about the Russian invaders’ mass looting before their retreat from the right bank of the Kherson Region, which covered various values, including cultural heritage. Among other things, the invaders also looted the archival institutions of the Region, located in the regional center, and the details of these crimes were not disclosed by the aggressor for several months.
But at the end of January 2023, the criminal and fake occupiers’ “Kherson administration” announced the illegal “rewarding” of “employees who evacuated state archive funds”, and this criminal show apparently took place in occupied Simferopol.
It is noteworthy that these collaborators also published a list of criminally “awarded persons”, namely Oleg Lobov, Valery Grishkov, Igor Gurkov, Arsen Dzheparov and Vladimir Rogachov. All of these defendants were declared by the occupiers in various criminal roles in the field of “Crimean archives”.
In particular, Lobov is the criminal so-called “Chairman of the state committee for archives” of the Russian occupiers, Pavel Rozanov is the illegal “head of department” and Arsen Dzheparov is the criminal “consultant of the department” of the pointed illegal “committee”.
Also, Valery Grishkov is listed by the Russian invaders as the criminal “Deputy Director of the State Archive”, and Igor Gurkov as the occupiers’ “Director of the State Archive for Personnel”. After such a “virtualization” of the Crimean marauders from their Kherson criminal “colleagues”, on January 31, the aforementioned collaborator Oleg Lobov was forced to publicly admit his involvement in the illegal export of Kherson archives to the occupied Crimea.
It is obvious that these acts that infringe on the rights of thousands of people deprived of access to archival data, as well as on the state interests of Ukraine and on the historical memory of the Ukrainian people, will receive a proper assessment from the authorized structures.
