Due to the actual cessation of water supply to the population in Simferopol, residents of this city arecollecting signatures for the Collective Appeal to the “State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic ofCrimea” “Water of Crimea”, to the “Inspectorate for Housing Supervision”, to the “InterregionalDepartment of Rospotrebnadzor” and other Russian illegal “authorities” on peninsula.
The Collective Appeal states that “the problem of cold water supply arose primarily due to the fault of“Water of Crimea”, which did not fulfill its responsibilities for the timely repair of water supplynetworks”. After all, as it was indicated in the Collective Appeal, as of the beginning of 2020, losses inthe networks of the city of Simferopol were up to 70%, and inhouse water losses – more than 20%.At the same time, the “Water of Crimea”, controlled by the Russian occupiers, did not take anymeasures to improve the situation.
The authors of the Collective Appeal demand to “Water of Crimea” to recalculate the payments for thewater actually consumed by the population. Authors insist that the “supervisory authorities” mustpunish the perpetrators, namely the “Water of Crimea”, in cutting off the water supply. As suchtermination, as it is proved in the Collective Appeal, was made by “Water of Crimea” with grossviolations even of occupation “legislation” and rules. The Collective Appeal has already been signed byhundreds of Simferopol residents.
