The inhabitants of Kerch have complained many times to the local authorities on the sewageconstantly discharged into the Melek-Chesme River. Thus, the dwellers who live in Borozenko Streetcan observe a constant sewage being discharged into the water body. As Kerch citizens affirm, thequantity of sewage in the river is getting higher. The odour and stink can be smelled in the flats of thenearby houses. The river is just on the brink of the extinction.
‘The colour of water in it is black, today. One can smell the stinking vapours from the sewerage. Thisis the very centre of Kerch City’, say the citizens indignantly.
However, a so-called ‘municipal administration’ does not respond to the complaints of Kerch citizens.
