In the second half of August, a number of propaganda mouthpieces controlled by the “administration” of the occupied Sevastopol, and some other aggressor’s information dumps such as “Politnavigator”, began to spread “sensational revelations” about Sergei Gradirovsky, the former criminal “head of the priority projects department” of the fake “Sevastopol government”.
Among other things about Gradirovsky, according to the “media”, it is stated that he “became the author of an anti-Russian channel”; since such “accusations”, and even public ones for the “information space” of the occupiers, are unprecedented, Borys Babin decided to look into the situation in more detail.
The current hysteria about Gradirovsky is associated with his periodic appearances on the “Voistinu” (“Truly”) YouTube channel, once founded by Heydar Dzhemal, who died in 2016 under ambiguous circumstances, as an “Islamic political and public figure, philosopher and poet” of Azerbaijani origin, but at the same time who was considered as “Russian oppositionist”.
Gradirovsky himself told the aggressor’s Crimean propagandists that “he is no longer a civil servant, and he sees nothing reprehensible” in the publications in “Voistinu” and he publishes there, since the channel is “run by students of Orkhan Dzhemal”, allegedly a friend of Gradirovsky and the son of the aforementioned Geidar. “I am not in the civil service and not in politics. I study philosophy, theology and metaphysics. And I solve the questions of what and with whom it will be possible to talk after the war … ”, Gradirovsky is allegedly quoted on the criminal “Politnavigator”.
It should be noted that for ordinary Crimean residents and for residents of the Russian Federation, the very repost of the video from “Voistinu” can turn into at least an extremely unpleasant visit by the aggressor’s punishers, but personally Gradirovsky is clearly not worried about his prospects.
In this vein, it is worth recalling the fate of Orkhan Dzhemal, who outlived his father by only a year and a half, and worked as a “special correspondent, military observer” in the aggressor’s newspaper “Izvestia”.
Orkhan was killed along with director Alexander Rastorguev and cameraman Kirill Radchenko in the Central African Republic, where, according to media reports, they were going to shoot a film about the activities of “Wagner” in this country and about gold mines being developed by a company associated with Yevgeny Prigozhin.
Let us recall that Konstantin Pikalov, nicknamed “Mazai”, was most likely involved in this episode, one of the key figures in Prigozhin’s “African project”, which included political, commercial and military work in several countries of this continent. Pikalov arrived in the CAR in the summer of 2018, a few months before three journalists who went to investigate Wagner were killed there.
The ARC wrote that Mazai is now playing a key role in the terrorist battalion “Convoy”, which, with the assistance of the criminal Sergey Aksyonov, has acquired its base in the occupied Crimea near the village of Perevalne and is hiring future terrorists through advertisements on social networks.
Now there are about 400 people in the “Convoy”, and we wrote that the “security service” of this terrorist structure was “noted” recently in the “Crimean” propaganda of the aggressor during the detention of the Crimean Tatar Dilyaver Salimov in Stary Krym, allegedly for a remark made at a gas station to its “employee” because of the cap with the Russian flag and the symbol of Russian aggression “Z”.
The case with Salimov described above was probably the first since the events of 2014 that the aggressor directly recognized the fact of criminal persecution of Crimean residents precisely by the occupiers’ paramilitary structures, and therefore the probable killer of Orkhan Dzhemal “Mazai” is clearly “in good standing” with the “Crimean” FSB structures.
It should be noted that Orkhan Dzhemal clearly had a wide “free hand” with the aggressor, and for example, he was allegedly an “intermediary” in August 2014 in the “release of a group of Kirovograd paratroopers from captivity near Mariupol”.
The network cites such probable statements by Jemal as “a thing that is stolen by someone is not the property of this person, it is not his. In the same way, Crimea is not ours, it is Ukrainian, because it is a legal category”, or “in 1944, the Crimean Tatars were evicted, and NKVD officers settled in their houses, still hot hearths. And now their offspring is now that very “Russian world”, that very Russian-speaking majority of Crimea”.
It would seem that a person with such a position will not represent “Izvestia in Africa, but will be with the aggressor in a completely different place, but, as they say, not everything is so simple.
After the murder of Dzhemal by the “Wagnerites” on August 3, 2018, the parishioners of the Muslim holy Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem read a prayer for the dead for Orkhan Dzhemal, and a banner with a photograph of Dzhemal against the backdrop of Islamic shrines was hung in the mosque complex and the inscription: “Russian journalist who died in the CAR Orkhan Dzhemal was an active defender of Palestine and the entire Islamic world”.
Can a “Russian military journalist” in Africa not work for the Russian special services is more than a rhetorical question; the only thing “open for discussion” in it is the “subordination” of Dzhemal to the Russia’s ministry of defense or the aggressor’s foreign intelligence service.
However, from the dead “friend of the Palestinian people” who did not have time to “make friends” with the Crimean Tatar people, it is worth returning to Gradirovsky, whose “list of regalia” is quite wide.
These are “a member of the expert council under the government of Russian ” and “a lector at the Skolkovo School of Management” and “a member of the working group of the expert council for the preparation of the Russian presidency in the G8” and “co-founder of the Russian Guild of Religious Journalists” and “chief editor of the social and political magazine “Ostrov Krym” (“Crimean Island”)”.
On this occasion, on the resource “Ukrainians of Russia” you can find a note twenty years ago that “in the autumn of 1995, the Crimean Club was founded in Moscow” and that “among its members there are many “physical” Crimeans: the director of the “Club of Travelers” Alexander Trofimov from Simferopol; his fellow countryman, editor-in-chief of the “Ostrov Krym” magazine Sergei Gradirovsky”, and so on; it was reported that “in the fall of 1999, the Crimean Club opened on the Web, with the support of the George Soros Foundation, its own Liternet server”.
This resource still exists, however, “for some reason” in the Indonesian language, and it periodically posts some “articles about Russia” that are more similar to the “young spy’s cipher kit”.
At the same time, Gradirovsky himself wrote on the Internet about the Crimea, starting in 1999, and then he stated that “the Taurian land did not give anyone a label for eternal rule”.Three years later, speaking of a certain “sociocultural reworking of the Crimean Tatar ethnos,” he stated that “since the beginning of the active inclusion of Crimea into the sphere of Russian sociocultural interests, there has been a characteristic, steady alternation of periods of the link “the ruin of the region – its transformation in accordance with the introduced standard”.
At the same time, the same Gradirovsky did not hesitate to declare that “Russians are a constructed ethnos created by colonization, in the process of colonization and thanks to colonization”, and at the same time he correlates with the authors of the most criminal concept of the “Russian world” almost thirty years ago.
Interestingly, that Gradirovsky “checked in” in Sevastopol in 2012 at the “second futurological congress, where allegedly “there were Protestants, there were Evangelists, there were Catholics and a Dominican monk and an exorcist.” However, Gradirovsky did not forget about Donetsk, having “shot back” there at the international theological conference “Church yesterday, today, tomorrow: Forms and essence” in April 2013.
At some stage, the curators of this “ journalist and theologian”, most likely wearing the same shoulder straps as the “friends” of Orkhan Dzhemal, who was killed by the “Wagnerites”, and such curators apparently decided to “make a career for Gradirovsky on earth”. As a result, Gradirovsky in July 2012 received the post of general director of the Tomsk City Development Agency under the mayor of Tomsk, Nikolai Nikolaychuk.
However, a year later, both Nikolaichuk and Gradirovsky were “asked to leave” because they “did not work together” with the team of Sergei Zhvachkin, the governor of the Tomsk Region, a creature from “Gazprom”, who, after “cleansing the regional capital”, ruled there for almost a decade.
Further and suddenly for many, both “Tomsk dreamers” found themselves in the criminal team of the “People’s governor of Sevastopol” Alexei Chaly; in the summer of 2014, Nikolaychuk was noticed by his rather non-public “adviser” in the criminal “Agency for Sevastopol Strategic Development” and then he became one of the “think tanks” in the Chaly’s opposition and criticism of Sergei Menyailo, the next “governor” of Sevastopol.
However, Nikolaychuk was quickly “removed” on “accusation of abuse of office” for some “Tomsk hand arts” and on October 1, 2014 he was “detained and transferred to Tomsk”, where, however, he escaped with a “slight fright”, having received 4 years later years conditionally.
It is noteworthy that Gradirovsky “outlasted” this “cyclone” and, unlike his “Tomsk twin”, for another three years he was listed among the occupiers as “director of the department of priority projects of Sevastopol”, where he “jumped” in September 2016 from the fake role of “head of city legislature apparatus”.
The fake “department”, “created” in January 2015, was called the “favorite brainchild” of Alexei Chaly, and it was he who supposedly “should have turned the city into a thriving tourist and technology center with portals, monorails, … and an IT cluster over the course of several years”.
However, as in Tomsk, Gradirovsky had “some problems” with the “bureaucratic biomass” who clearly did not understand the “distant plans” of the curators of such “philosopher and theologian”. First, the fake “head” of the “Center for tourism development” subordinated to Gradirovsky, Yekaterina Khimicheva from Nizhny Novgorod, accused the “new boss” of allegedly beating her in her office “in response to a demand to pay off the debt for four months”.
“Debts” began to be demanded from the “department” itself in the form of a “series of lawsuits from entrepreneurs” and all this was highlighted in the information “resources” of Alexei Chaly’s “best friends”: Sergei Menyailo, Sergei Aksenov and Pavel Lebedev. Then Gradirovsky left Sevastopol together with Chaly’s “falling into hibernation” and began to position himself in Moscow as an “urban expert” working in the infamous “Skolkovo”.
In this role, two years ago Gradirovsky “criticized” the situation in Sevastopol, speaking of “a whole range of deep problems in the region” including “a split in the city” and “an increase in crime”, but clearly not striving to “back into city power”.
Therefore, the sudden current hysteria of a part of the “Sevastopol media” about “anti-Russian content” from the creator of the very myth of the criminal “Russian world” does not boil down to a simple squabble “for portfolios” and it has a more complex nature.
The fact that the curators of the murdered Dzhemal and his “friends” from the aggressor’s special services do not work for the Crimea, but for third countries, and it is there that their new legend about the “liberal and philosopher with Crimean roots” Gradirovsky is directed is obvious.
The reasons for this legend are obvious and understandable to many in the occupied peninsula: the aggressor wants to bargain over Crimea, and for this he “needs negotiators” and “highly desirable with the Crimean background”. But all the current, elderly “petrels of the Crimean spring”, irreplaceable over the years of occupation, and even more so “nonames” from the colonialists in the “Sevastopol government” will not be hands-shaked not only in Brussels and Washington, but also in Beijing, Delhi and Ankara.
Therefore, the “liberal governor” Dmitry Ovsyannikov was sent to Cyprus, and Gradirovsky is flirting with the “Muslim intellectuals”. It is clear that many of the collaborators do not like such a calculation for “Crimean negotiations”, since it is obvious that one of the preconditions for a new hypothetical “Minning in Rapallo” will be their obituaries in the federal or, respectively, local press.
Well, what will actually happen to the aggressor’s “club of negotiators”, will be shown by our further researches.
