According to the Center for Journalistic Investigations, in Crimea, the Russian invaders opened two more illegal “administrative cases” against human rights activist Abdureshit Dzhepparov, he is accused of “discrediting the Russian army” and “abusing freedom of information”.
Both “cases” contain fabricated protocols that were drawn up by the occupying punishers without the presence of Dzhepparov himself.
The essence of the accusations is that the human rights activist allegedly “administers the page of the initiative” “Qırım Gayesi” (“Crimean Idea”), which publishes reviews of violations of international humanitarian law in Crimea and operational reports on human rights violations on the territory of the peninsula,
Earlier, the Russian occupiers detained the Crimean public figure Dzhepparov twice, on March 16, 2022 and April 25, 2023.
A year before the start of a large-scale invasion, Dzhepparov became a participant in the film “To Live to Return”, shown in Kyiv, since 2014 he has repeatedly participated in human rights events of the European Union, the OSCE and the Council of Europe. On the eve of a large-scale aggression in February 2022, Dzhepparov pointed out in an interview to the catastrophic consequences of the Kremlin’s criminal plans for the occupied peninsula.
