On September 25, the criminal occupiers’ “minister of agriculture”, Andrei Savchuk, suddenly became concerned with the “inventory of farmland” of the occupied Crimea and promised to “analyze where the land is not used for its intended purpose”. “In order to make any decisions, we need to see the scale of lands that are not in use”, the “minister” wrote, thereby stating that he was not in control of the situation and at the same time stating that the occupiers allegedly “have the opportunity to seize lands that are no longer used three years”.

The reasons for this “sudden rush” are obvious. Despite all the bravura “statistical indicators”, the peninsula’s agriculture is in stagnation according to certain dimensions, and according to a number of parameters it is in systemic degradation and collaborators “need to find the last one”. In addition, the cancellation by the Ukrainian authorities of the “free economic zone” regime in the occupied Crimea and the subsequent large-scale Russian aggression led to the fact that many mainland Ukrainian beneficiaries curtailed their agricultural business on the peninsula and stopped supporting the occupation regime.

In the sector of relatively small farms and farms, which were not “spoiled” by the occupiers, “some changes” also took place: many people were criminally “mobilized” by the aggressor, and in addition, many are hiding from this process outside the peninsula. The criminal “minister” naturally does not specify to whom the occupiers plan to give the “confiscated lands”.
