We have previously written many times that the occupiers and collaborators in Crimea periodically try to “return to the events” of the Crimean War of the 19th century, for obvious propaganda attempts. Since the beginning of September, regular attempts to dress up in shrouds of a century and a half ago were noted at the occupiers’ criminal “state council”; this time, the local collaborators tried to describe the situation “as dramatically as possible”, which once again turned into a cheap farce.
Among other things, it was stated that the Russian Empire allegedly “sought to fairly solve its national interests in the south” and some “normal life of the Orthodox population of the Ottoman Sultanate” was mentioned, and allegedly “the continuity of the spiritual connection with the biblical region”. Such imperial passages, which even Soviet and post-Soviet propaganda were embarrassed to reproduce, are certainly worth “taking on a pencil” in Ankara and Tel Aviv: as a marker that the Kremlin’s minions in their criminal plans for centuries “have not forgotten anything and have not learned anything”.
How the empire actually maintained “biblical ties” can be understood by the example of the Metropolitan of Gothia and Kafa destroyed by the Kremlin in the Crimea, but, of course, the current propagandists of the aggressor are far from history and from the peninsula they captured in principle. However, the “main message” of the Crimean collaborators was that allegedly in the Eastern War “European states failed to achieve the main goals set for the military campaign” with an obvious fake projection on “current realities”. In addition to all the obvious absurdities of the same “analogies”.
it is enough to mention that a century and a half ago in Crimea, all the hardships of the Kremlin’s insane policy were borne by an army staffed primarily by mainland Ukrainians, but now the situation has clearly taken a completely different turn for the Kremlin.
