According to the “Bosphorus Observer”, on February 24 and 25, two bulk carriers under the Russian flag, “Mikhail Nenashev” IMO number 9515539 and “Matros Pozynich” IMO number 9573816, sailed from the Black Sea through the Bosphorus with a cargo of stolen Ukrainian grain, criminally loaded on them in the Russia-occupied Sevastopol.
Now both of these vessels, operated by the Astrakhan firm “Crane Marine Contractor”, a subsidiary of the aggressor’s “United Shipbuilding Corporation”, are supposedly heading to Lebanese Beirut. In fact, the “Bosphorus Observer” points out, these vessels are carrying tens of thousands of tons of stolen grain to the Syrian Tartus, where the Russian naval base is located.
Let us recall that earlier experts assessed the illegal transfer of grain from the captured Ukrainian ports as a form of ongoing Russia’s maritime aggression, already reflected in a number of international documents. Assistance to the aggressor in these forms, among other things, allows to assess the status of the Assad regime in Syria as contrary to the principles of neutrality.
