Yesterday we already wrote about the criminal actions of the Russian invaders on the illegal “inclusion” of the historical heritage site of the “Kamyana Mohyla” (“Stone Grave”) museum, located in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhya Region, into the “Khersonessky Reserve” of Russia-occupied Sevastopol.
Today, the Russian occupiers have spread fake statements by the criminal so-called “Minister of culture of the Zaporizhzhya region” Yuriy Kovany, that before the Russian occupation, allegedly “the reserve did not receive proper funding”, which is a deliberate lie, and that allegedly “the place itself was used for pagan rites” , which can also be considered as obvious nonsense.
Commenting on this “news”, the Sevastopol residents indicated that precisely the illegal activities of the Russian occupiers regarding the reserve “smack of occultism”. Also, the residents of the occupied city point that after such statements, “collapse will be to those Scythian tombstones” and that “end will come to the “Stone Grave””.
The comments sarcastically predict that now the Russian occupiers, “at best”, will “clutter up all the free space with ugly new constructions”, by “the studio of «children’s new grave art»”, selling “”reduced copies of the Scythian woman” cast from bronze water valve seats”.
Also, Sevastopol residents ask a rhetorical question – “Cembalo, Kalamita, Zagaytan’a [that are the historical objects of Sevastopol itself that have been collapsing for the last eight years] …have they already perfectly preserved?” It should be noted that in open sources there is no information about the connection of the mentioned criminal Yuri Kovany with historical, cultural or archaeological activities.
