Recently, the exchange of Russian criminal and arms dealer Viktor Bout for American basketball player Brittney Griner received a wide response. Recall that Bout was sentenced in 2012 by an American court to 25 years in prison for selling weapons to various terrorist structures, including the communist FARC, which had been at war with the Colombian government for decades. Just at a allegedly “meeting with representatives of the Colombians,” Bout was arrested in 2008 in Thailand by agents of the US Drug Enforcement Administration, and after that the civil war in Colombia gradually came to naught.

It is obvious that now the drug dealer and “war lord” Bout, who served fourteen years, is quite interesting to his Kremlin masters, but not so much in practical terms as in propaganda, as a symbol of some kind of fake “victory over the United States”. And for this, the Kremlin is once again trying, in the absence of any real prospects for Bout in a greatly changed world, to criminally “play the Crimean card”. Now Russian propaganda has stated that the leadership of the criminal “LDPR”, which recently “included Bout in its ranks”, allegedly “is negotiating with Putin’s administration” about Bout’s criminal establishment in 2023 in the State Duma in the fake “Simferopol district”.

The fact is that in September 2022, the criminal “Simferopol state duma deputy” Aleksey Chernyak “voluntarily left his post”, making his “seat vacant”. This “deliberate decision” was made by the Crimean collaborator Chernyak, the owner of the Bentley Continental and the schemer with the real estate criminally seized in the Crimea, not because of his corruption scams, but after he for some reason publicly boasted of “receiving personally major rank from the minister” Shoigu, which did not please the Kremlin officials. However, whether the Russian invaders will have time to organize the criminal “elections of Bout in Simferopol” before the de-occupation of Crimea is now the biggest and most painful question for them.
