Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced Russian President Vladimir Putin had cancelled his trip to occupied Crimea to be held on 16 July. Vladimir Putin was expected to participate in the keel-laying ceremony of two naval ships at Zalyv plant.
‘The schedule has changed today. The President will visit Crimea and participate in the keel-laying ceremony of the two warships on Monday’, Peskov said.
Peskov did not specify the reasons for postponing Putin’s visit. It is only known that Putin will not leave his residence in Novo-Ogaryovo on 16 July.
