In framework of permanent cooperation with United Nations’ bodies our Associaiton send own submission to UN Independent Expert on protection against violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity Dr. Graeme Reid for his report A/HRC/56/49 to Human Rights Council.
ARC submission, prepared by Professor Borys Babin and other experts and published at UN sources now, stressed, that among civil persons, who were victims of Russian aggressor, there are a lot of LGBT persons who tried to replace themselves from the hostilities zone, and a lot of persons were killed or kidnapped by occupiers as “non-loyal” ones regarding their gender or sexual orientation.
ARC submisison reminded that Russia’s Supreme court’s decision on “ban” the socalled “International LGBT Social Movement” during last year allowed the occupiers in the Crimea and mainland Russia-controlled areas to persecute any homosexual or allegedly “homosexual” person, under a “political” punitive “legal norm”.
Association’s submission added that Russian and collaborators’ propaganda actors used massively exactly hate speech against LGBT as key part of “presidential electoral PR” creating such “internal enemy” as LGBT representatives and structures often manipulatively alleged ones.
