On April 19, our Association’s expert Borys Babin spoke at the conference “Actual Issues of Providing Security Environment in Ukraine”, which was held by the State Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Current security issues were discussed by key specialists of the Institute, professors Mykhailo Verbensky, Alexander Korystyny and Valeriia Ryadynskaya, as well as representatives of the leadership of the Main Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine, of the Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and of the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Training of Television, Radio and Press Workers, as well as by the academic staff of the SSU Anti-terrorist Center, the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, the SSU National Academy, the Ostroh Academy and the Lviv State University of Life Safety.
In his speech, Professor Babin drew attention to the role of Ukraine’s 2024 bilateral security agreements with partner states, including the measure of reintegration of the territories of Ukraine, as well as to national strategies and plans for the de-occupation and reintegration of the Crimea and to modern key security challenges related to the occupied territories.
The ARC expert drew special attention to the results of the II Black Sea Security Conference and strategic forums “The Future of Crimea” in the context of improving the corresponding expert work. At the same time, the work of the forums in measuring the practical steps of reintegration aroused the deep interest of the conference participants and became the subject of a lively expert discussion.
