On February, 22, Journalist Terrell Jermaine Starr hold public on-line discussion “American Politics and the War in Ukraine” in conversation with Emily Channell-Justice, Director of the Temerty Contemporary Ukraine Program at the Ukrainian Research Institute, Harvard University Terrell Starr is an independent American journalist widely known for his coverage of the current Russian aggression against Ukraine. He is the founder and host of Black Diplomats, a weekly podcast reporting on foreign affairs and Eastern European politics.
A former Fulbright grantee, Terrell is currently a nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center. Conversant in Russian, Ukrainian, and Georgian, he is a recognized authority on Ukraine-U.S. relations, Georgian politics, Central Asia, and American democracy. During conversation our Associaiton’s expert Professor Borys Babin invited participants to discuss negative influence on American politics of Russian propagandists of American origin like Scott Ritter, who visited some times occupied Crimea illegally and whose Russia-controlled daughter “educates” in Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service in Washington, DC.
