On November 23, Association experts Borys Babin and Anna Prikhodko took part in the presentation of the results of the II Strategic Forum “The Future of Crimea,” which was organized by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center with the support of the Representation of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Ukraine. At a press conference in “Ukrinform”, experts presented recommendations on the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy for de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of the AR of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

The results of the work were presented by Eskender Bariiev, a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, by Professor Evgeniy Khlobystov, by Professor Konstantin Zakharenko and by the Representative of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting in the AR of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol Vladimir Lyashenko.

Eskender Bariiev spoke about the recommendations for the reintegration of Crimea, which were developed at the First Strategic Forum and noted that within the framework of the Second Strategic Forum, experts focused on analyzing the Action Plan; during the event, he presented relevant recommendations.

In his speech, Borys Babin focused on issues of criminal and international policy, noting the need for further institutionalization of the International Crimean Platform and its expert network. Participants in the presentation actively commented on Anna Prikhodko’s question regarding the financing of plans for the reintegration of the Crimea, among other things, pointing out the specifics of the relevant budget expenditures and stating that a separate development of draft international documents on financing reintegration is necessary, taking into account relevant standards and best international practices.
