In May, 2023 the UN Independent Expert on Foreign Debt and Human Rights, Ms. Attiya Waris launched the process of gathering inputs from States and other stakeholders to inform her thematic report on “Multiple crisis, fiscal systems and human rights” that be presented at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, in October 2023, and our Association sent relevant informing to UN official.
ARC’s submission, prepared by professor Borys Babin and published on UN web-sources, describes illegal activities of the aggressor’s “International Settlement Bank” and “Promsvyazbank” in the Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhya regions and points that such institutions violate brutally the rights of Ukrainian citizens and legal persons to respect for private and family life, property and correspondence, to receive and impart information – as all data, collected by this “banks” on-line, is available for Russian militaries and special services.
ARC’s submission also informed UN Expert that Russian invaders use for their financial machinations the structures of illegal “Post of Crimea” in Russia-occupied Crimea, parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions, also as illegal “Post of Donbas” in East of Ukraine, as de-facto structure units of “Post of Russia”. Russian “Sberbank” opened its illegal units in Crimea, especially in its Southern part where its bosses like German Gref have own criminal “commercial interest”, Association pointed also.
