Some days ago, Sevastopol “authorities” announced the “exemption of summer and seasonal cafes and restaurants” from “rent for the entire 2025 for summer venues.” Previously, this “attraction of unprecedented generosity” was repeatedly carried out by the occupiers, but “for some reason” it did not save the city’s slutty establishments from mass closure starting in 2022.
The townspeople are quite sarcastically perceiving this “helping hand”, considering that, unlike the corruption bribe, this “four percent fee” did not pose a special burden on Sevastopol restaurateurs.
At the same time, the absence, for obvious reasons, of “wealthy clients” is not compensated for by any “tax breaks.” And at the same time, the same “authorities” have provided the population with an even more vivid reason for sarcasm, “improving the rules of work” for street musicians.
Now these figures “have been banned from performing works by musicians” included …. in the list of foreign agents, as well as citizens of unfriendly states.”
At the same time, in addition to the “ban on the entire English-language repertoire”, the “list of foreign agents”, with its almost a thousand positions, now includes almost all Russian-language authors and groups more or less familiar to street performers.
However, as city residents note, these “historical innovations” in deserted Sevastopol will be felt exclusively by the natives, in the complete absence of so-called “tourists”.
