We have already told about the sad fate of the “unsaved” civilian submarine “Bentos-300”, rotting off the coast of the occupied Sevastopol Inkerman.
Now from the local “media” follows the equally sad biography of the “Hydronaut” category vehicles, namely the “Omar”, “Langust” and “Reef”, intended for deep-sea diving, which were also the legacy of the oceanic fishing fleet.
It is indicated that “Langust” and “Reef” were captured in 2014, but then “caught the fancy” of the aggressor’s ministry of defense, which transported them to the Kronstadt museum, essentially turning them into a dummy.
But “Omar”, bought by private individuals from Balaklava, was used by them for recreational purposes for a whole decade until 2014, as well as for “monitoring unauthorized sand mining in the Balaklava area” and “searching for missiles that were tested here with an underwater launch”.
But under the conditions of occupation, the owners of “Omar” were unable to satisfy the corrupt appetites of the infamous “Russian Maritime Register of Shipping” to obtain a “technical certificate” according to “Russian rules”, and therefore the unique device was left to rust at the dacha of its owner.
The aggressor was unable to organize military use for these designs, and the current “authorities” of the occupiers are clearly not interested in anything else.
