On November 5-6, the aggressor finally organized another show of the “Yalta International Forum” in the Moscow “President Hotel” that had long been promised by its propaganda.
The tragicomic nature of the “off-site event” was emphasized not only by “certain circumstances” preventing the occupiers from gathering in Yalta, but also by the “division of the forum” announced some days before, when its “economic part” was now announced separately, for the beginning of December, and in Ufa.
This is explained simply: the “economic forum” will be imitated at the “International Business Week” held by the government of Bashkortostan, that is, with outside participants, gathered by the aggressor in a slightly different role.
And in the “President Hotel” they predictably discussed the “process of overcoming the hegemony of the collective West”, without “getting distracted by trifles” like the realities of the economy or finance.
At the current Moscow gathering, if we suddenly believe its organizers, there were “100 representatives from 38 countries”, but for some reason, none of the usual interviews, quotes or even photographs of “foreign guests” for such “festivals” were given, with a meager message about “awarding friends of Crimea”, including some anonymous “from representative countries”.
Note that in 2019, the occupiers’ propaganda announced the participation of “more than 600 foreign guests” in a similar event, and in occupied Crimea.
Where the current few “forum members” came from is easily explained by the special role in organizing the show of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the aggressor’s Foreign Ministry, which sent there “on order” both its foreign students and postgraduates, and employees, as well as recent graduates, at the level of assistants to State Duma deputies and the like.
It is therefore not surprising that the main “talking heads” of the “forum” were not the aggressor’s top officials, nor ministers and deputies, but the same Georgy Muradov and Vladimir Konstantinov, the latter of whom is hastily drawing up some “scientific achievements” for himself, by the way, in the same MGIMO.
Obviously, the format of the event in Ufa will be similar: several hackneyed “Crimean speakers” of the third freshness and a group of anonymous “foreign guests” from local institutes in the background.
