We have previously repeatedly mentioned the “exercises” advertised by the Crimean gauleiter Sergei Aksyonov, which are more reminiscent of a protracted filming of a budget action movie to advertise the criminal “territorial defense” in the form of a specially baked “Bars-Crimea”.
We have previously stated that “territorial defense” in these “exercises” is used as “attached forces” and the plot of this militaristic show consists of the occupiers’ units blocking the main highways.
We have also pointed out that Aksyonov’s statements that these “exercises” were allegedly conducted “on his initiative” as persistent attempts by the gauleiter to “play soldiers” are already being perceived quite nervously by a wide circle of people among his “Kremlin curators”.
To understand the situation, it is worth mentioning Vladimir Mertsalov, who was “exposed” in the context of the described propaganda events, periodically quoting “militiamen” regarding “commands from the head of the republic”, as allegedly “chief of staff of the fourth battalion of territorial defense” of the same “Bars-Crimea”.
At the same time, “for some reason” the same “Crimean press” is silent about the fact that the same Mertsalov, on the eve of the “exercises”, on September 11 received “on the list of United Russia” “the mandate of a deputy of the State Council”, and right after his formal “concession” by Aksyonov.
Before getting into the “state council”, the former policeman and Crimean collaborator Mertsalov, who had been declared in recent years as a “social activist” from the aggressor structure “Voin”, and as an “adviser” to Aksyonov on “military issues”, Vladimir Mertsalov managed to flash, on the foaming wave of the “Crimean spring”, as the so-called “head of the committee for combating corruption under the Council of Ministers of the republic”.
As part of some “anti-corruption” showdown with competitors, on August 28, 2015, Mertsalov was beaten with a baseball bat, after which he “partially lost his sight and memory, and also became a disabled person of the 2nd group”.
“Loss of memory” did not prevent him from first being put on the “federal wanted list”, and then, in 2016, in the publication “Attempt on Crimea” to expose his “baseball competitors”, to be demonstratively arrested by the occupiers’ punishers “during a festive concert dedicated to Victory Day”, and then “forgiven”.
At the same time, the current “deputy” and allegedly disabled Mertsalov not only “learnt nothing and forgotten nothing”, but also somehow received the papers of a “veteran of a special military operation”.
Apparently, it was not just like that that they decided to “showcase” such a character in the extremely risky for Aksyonov personally topic of “military exercises” as an imitation of “bayonets loyal to the head of Crimea”: this person has an abundance of “well-canned” hatred for competitors, and he personally has nothing to lose in the current conditions.
