Some days ago, a number of “Sevastopol channels” began to spread rumors about the alleged “detention” by the occupiers of the “head of the centralized accounting department of the government” and “of the department of the governor’s office” of Sevastopol Angela Voitenko.
The exact reasons for the repression are not named, but it is written that Voitenko is allegedly “under house arrest” and the essence of the claims against her allegedly concerns the activities of the “city state enterprise” “Pansionaty Sevastopolya” (“Boarding houses of Sevastopol”), allegedly on “black accounting”, and at the same time Voitenko allegedly “cooperates with the investigation”.
Both the “punishers” and the “authorities” did not comment on this situation, and it will most likely develop after the end of the “city elections”, but for now Voitenko “is listed as an active official on the government website”.
However, after the August epic with the arrest of the “deputy” of the Sevastopol Gauleiter Yevgeny Gorlov, when the occupiers hushed up this “story” for almost a month, the current “silence of the lambs” does not mean anything.
Let us note, that the collaborator Voitenko is far from the last person in the occupation “vertical”, and she was “responsible” for the “government accounting” continuously after 2014.
At the same time, at least outwardly, unlike the situation with Gorlov, there were no conflicts between the “chief accountant” and the “governor” himself, who in recent years trusted Voitenko with a number of “additional functions”. If the version about the “Pansionaty Sevastopolya” is true, then formally Voitenko may be “involved” in the “dead souls” scams, when thousands, if not tens of thousands of “Kherson settlers” allegedly passed through the corresponding resettlement sites since 2022, and in more specific “reverse situations”, when “very respected people” lived for years in Sevastopol boarding houses “at government expense”.
Probably, the “Sevastopol channels” are discussing this “housing” issue due to its public scandalous nature; let us recall that since the beginning of 2024, the Kremlin has stopped “federal financing” of the “Pansionaty Sevastopolya” activities.
But in any way, the Voitenko case, which the “Sevastopol fronda” is now trying to use in its channels against gauleiter Razvozhaev, clearly has other goals. It is highly likely that it will become one of the formal grounds for the “post-election purge” of Sevastopol from the clans of Chaly and Pavlo Lebedyev. At the very least, the current gauleiter has put a lot of effort into this.
