As there is written on social networks on January 18, the occupiers sent to prison for 11 years the former “deputy head” of Yevpatoria, Kirill Vavrenyuk, who was detained in November 2020 because he, along with his “colleague” Yevgeny Lokayets and intermediary Ivan Serdyuk, helped “bypass the auction” receive a “municipal plot with permanent buildings,” for which he received a “non-residential building in gratitude for his help.” And Serdyuk and Lokaits received 7 and 5 years, respectively.

Then we wrote that in the spring of 2019, the high-profile arrest of the “narco-prince of Kazantip” and the “mayor” of Yevpatoria Andrei Filonov was facilitated by the former “prosecutor” of the city, Kirill Vavrenyuk, who was working as his “first deputy” at that time. The purpose of Filonov’s arrest was the redistribution of the assets of Greater Yevpatoria in the interests of the criminal Sergei Aksyonov and the then “deputy prime minister” Dmitry Polonsky. This began after the arrest of Vitaly Nakhlupinfor asking for too large a bribe from the Rotenbergs, as occupier’s “deputy prime minister” who patronized Filonov.

Another goal was to stop the encroachment of the former Minister of Defense of Ukraine Pavel Lebedev on the lands of Yevpatoria, to whom Filonov, bypassing Aksyonov’s corrupt interests, gave expensive plots of land for development. However, then Polonsky himself went through a “black streak”, and Vavrenyuk also did not have time to earn money as an “acting mayor”, since in the fall of 2019 he was replaced by Roman Tikhonchuk, “appointed” by Moscow at the request of Aksyonov.

The occupiers carried out the “Vavrenyuk case” just at the moment of the latter’s intense “undercover struggle” with Tikhonchuk. The current indicative “severe sentence” for Vavrenyuk is associated with the fact that in 2020, the aggressor’s punishers found Ukrainian passports from him and his wife, which “officials” did not hand over to the FSB, according to the then practice; in the current conditions, this has played a cruel joke on the collaborators.
