The other day, aggressor-controlled “media” reported that the criminal “State Council of Crimea” allegedly “agreed on the next list of real estate properties previously owned by Ukrainian oligarchs, which will be sold at an open auction”. At first glance, the “news” that “there are 35 objects on the approved list: 14 in Kerch, 10 in Simferopol, 7 in Chernomorske and 4 in Yalta” sounds “solid”, but the analysis of the lists of “nationalized” is yet again times emphasizes the tragicomic nature of this show.
And here the lie is not only about “belonging to oligarchs,” but also about the fact that “all objects are in good condition”. For example, in Simferopol, a small abandoned hotel, or rather a rooming house opposite the central bus station, will be put up for auction, along with sheds, garages, boxes and a “small sauna and a guardhouse.”
Even more interesting is the situation in Kerch where the occupiers decided to “sell” the premises at 30 Petr Korolev Street, which, according to their own “registers” after the occupation, were declared as “property of the republican” “Kerch interdistrict veterinary laboratory”, including a “glacier warehouse”, “chlorination laboratory”, “fence, restroom” and the like. In Yalta, an “elite” residential building with a “shed and a bathroom” is up for auction on the street, on Nakhimov Street, 2, where a couple of years ago someone unsuccessfully tried to sell an apartment.
And in Chornomorske they are “selling at auction” the modest canteen and store “Variant” at 70 Revolution Street, including “warehouses, a restroom building and a cesspool”, which is offered to be purchased separately. At this address, the occupiers “list the company” “Pilot” of a certain Vadim Melnik, who clearly does not fit the description of a “consiliori” of a large Ukrainian business. Thus, the occupiers’ bravura propaganda statement that “while these lots are being prepared for auction,” the criminal “Crimean authorities” “continue to identify property belonging to Ukrainian oligarchs” receives a special resonance; however, one can only guess how many more cesspools the collaborators will study in this process.
