According to the aggressor’s propaganda, on the night of August 5, on the southern approach to the Kerch Strait, thirty miles south of the illegal “Crimean Bridge”, the “Sig” tanker IMO 9735335 under the flag of the aggressor received a hole.
It is reported that there were no casualties and no oil spill, since the vessel was in ballast, while damage deprived the tanker of its course and the aggressor announced that it was “rescued” by the tugboat “Mercuriy” and the research vessel “Impuls”.
The “Sig” tanker was previously included in the US sanctions lists for transporting oil for the needs of the dictator Assad, and in addition, this vessel with a displacement of more than 6 thousand tons constantly makes criminal oil transportation to the occupied ports of Crimea, including Kerch and Sevastopol.
The owner of the tanker is “Ugra-Leasing” from Khanty-Mansiysk, whose founder and permanent financial partner is “Khanty-Mansiysk Bank”.
The tanker was operated by “Transpetrochart” from St. Petersburg, which controls at least four more tankers involved in illegal shipping to the occupied Crimea, as well as in the “Syrian Express”.
These are the tankers “Passat”, “Sudak”, “Yaz” and “OT-2077”; the “Truvor” tanker, which transported Russian fuel to Bulgaria, is also connected with “Transpetrochart”; “Transpetrochart” has a number of contracts with “Rosneft”.
