As Tamila Tasheva, Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea, said on March 19 within the framework of the “Unified Telethon”, the Mission she heads, on behalf of the head of state, is working on strategic steps for the reintegration of the Russia-occupied territories.
This issue concerns the restoration of public authorities and courts, law enforcement agencies, as well as the functioning of military administrations.
As Tasheva pointed out, in the de-occupied Crimea, a military administration will first work, and after the appropriate conditions come, a military-civilian administration and a gradual transition to civilian life will follow.
In addition, Tasheva pointed out, it is important to work out the issue of ownership on the territory of the Crimean peninsula, responsibility for the fact that a number of citizens collaborated with the occupation administrations and determine the basis for lustration and amnesty.
The Permanent Representative pointed out the importance of bringing to justice those who actively contributed to the establishment of the occupation administrations, who organized illegal “mobilization campaigns”, “referendums” or “elections”, carried out aggressor’s propaganda.
It should be noted that in March our Association sent recommendations to the authorized authorities of Ukraine regarding the international dimension of the reintegration of the Crimea after the de-occupation.
The recommendations were prepared taking into account the fact that on this issue, ARC expert Professor Boris Babin had previously taken an active part in the “Future of Crimea” forum, where key Ukrainian specialists with decades of experience in administrative, legal and humanitarian work in the Crimea developed appropriate models.
It is also expected that an integral set of proposals for the reintegration of the Crimea in all areas, worked out at the Forum, organized by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, will be discussed in the near future with the participation of experts and representatives of authorized state structures.
