As has been repeatedly reported, since the fall of 2022, the Russian invaders began to build “fortifications” in the coastal zone of the Northern and Western Crimea.
This process of digging “beach trenches” had tragicomic features for a long time, and the invaders’ propaganda was systematically engaged in “refuting gossip”.
However, the Russian invaders gradually admitted that they were still digging trenches on the beaches, and now, according to the aggressor-controlled “media”, they no longer deny that “engineering structures are being built on the Western coast of Crimea from Okunevka to Zaozerne”.
The Russian occupiers will not be able to talk about “gossip” further, because due to the approaching heat, at least local residents will massively flock to the beaches, and the Kremlin also announced an “excellent tourist season” on the occupied and front-line peninsula.
Therefore, Sergei Aksyonov, this time in the criminal role of “head of territorial defense,” announced the “decision to terminate the contract for the lease of beaches” and actually close the coastal zone from Yevpatoria to Tarkhankut.
So far, the occupiers have not bothered to inform the population about the details, and the “press” controlled by them, states that “the entire load of vacationers will be distributed to the southern coast of Crimea and to the east coast from Feodosia to Alushta”, and that “the “mayors” of these cities received the relevant instructions.”
