In the light of public “exchanges of courtesies” between the terrorist Yevgen Prigozhin and the criminal “head of Crimea” Sergei Aksyonov, Russian “media” began to spread rumors that the “training base” “Wagner” “may be relocated” to the occupied peninsula, which allegedly “will receive most importantly” “a territory … independent of the military and Chekists”, separately pointing to the alleged “capabilities of Aksyonov”.

Analyzing this issue, the experts of the “Center for Journalistic Investigations” point out that this “media process” is rather an imitation by Aksyonov himself of his position in the occupiers’ “hierarchy”, as allegedly “omnipotent and inviolable” and say that “clear signs that “Wagner” is building its base in the Crimea, not yet observed”.

At the same time, the same experts acknowledge the presence of “particularly active campaigning for joining” the terrorist “Wagner”, when criminal video advertisements are broadcast in city buses and trolleybuses, where it is proposed to “sign a contract” with “Wagner” to participate in aggression. On February 21-23, “CJI” counted 13 displays of the criminal “Wagner” advertisement only in the telegram channel of the invaders-controlled “Krym24” “TV company”.

At the same time, there is a significant number of already killed residents of the peninsula who had previously joined the “Wagner” terrorist structure. Thus, it is obvious that “Wagner” has at least an established criminal recruitment apparatus in the occupied Crimea.

Given the significant number of empty recreational accommodation facilities, controlled by the Aksyonov clan, and the presence of a number of training grounds on the occupied peninsula, the criminal creation of a base for “Wagner” is not something unattainable for the illegal “head of Crimea”. Naturally, the level of “autonomy” of this criminal structure can be different, and the “final decisions” here also obviously do not depend on the Crimean collaborators.
