The aggressor’s propaganda announced the alleged new “achievements” of the occupied Sevastopol in “foreign trade”, in particular, the alleged “growth of exports”.
At the same time, it was declared that the illegal “foreign trade turnover of the city of Sevastopol… amounted to 537 million rubles”, of which “export” was 253 million, and “import” – 284 million.
At the same time, the Russian invaders pointed out that “in 2020, the entire foreign trade turnover of Sevastopol… was 9.8 million dollars,” of which 4.8 million accounted for illegal “exports”.
However, the arithmetic here definitely “didn’t work out”, because, if we take into account the exchange rate of 2022, it turns out that, compared to the “covid” year 2020, the illegal “turnover” fell by 22%, to $ 7.67 million, and the illegal “exports” decreased by 16%.
However, it is worth noting that these aggressor’s statistics are obviously “inflated” since they incorrectly referred to such “trade operations” and “deals with Ukraine”, the volume of which in 2021 was counted by 29.5 %.
This may include the illegal “trafficking” of Sevastopol with the Russia-occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and the law on the “free economic zone” that was in force at that time.
At the same time, the invaders called Italy and Belarus as “other partners”, but now they already admit that “the changed political situation has brought Belarus to the first place”.
It should be noted that the growth of criminal “turnover” with the Lukashenka regime can be reduced to targeted illegal “purchases” of Belarusian goods and services by fake “enterprises” directly controlled by the criminal “administration” of the Russian occupiers.
We have already pointed to a recent similar “million-dollar deal” with the enterprise “Beltruboprovodstroy” for “laying an underwater pipeline through the Sevastopol Bay”. Now, within the framework of improving the sanctions policy, our Association has already notified the bodies of civilized countries, as well as the structures of the European Union, about this issue.
Another example of “Belarusian goods” was the activity of “Coca-Cola Beverages Belorussiya”, as the media began to report on the mass detection of its products in the retail chains of the occupied region.
However, realizing the ephemeral nature and fakeness of such “foreign trade”, the Russian invaders’ propaganda is trying to talk about a “bright tomorrow”, obviously implementing the Kremlin’s narratives about “the future of trade with Africa” and some kind of “July forum”.
It is noteworthy that the criminal “governor” of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev was forced to publicly admit at the “final meeting” complete fictitiousness of these ideas, in contrast to the current “pinpoint scams” with the Lukashenko regime.
