At the sametime, Russia uses repressions and persecution to expel Crimean Tatars and ethnic Ukrainians from thepeninsula and to substitute them with Russian citizens. Sure thing, hundreds of new buildings requireinfrastructure and water. We won’t provide water from the Dnipro River for this’, Refat Chubarov said.
He also added that Ukraine would resume water supply to Crimea, ‘as soon as the last soldier leavesthe peninsula’.
‘Water supply under occupation without clear understanding of Crimea’s future de facto meansUkraine accepts alienation of its territory and recognises Russia’s attempted annexation. This will bebeginning of Ukraine’s disintegration’, Refat Chubarov said.
