Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba believes Russia cannot be a part of the international negotiation group for de-occupation of Crimea.
He said this in his interview to Segodnya.
According to Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, it was a mistake, when no sustainable platform in the Crimea de-occupation format was established in 2014. In many respects, it hinders the progress.
‘We’ve got to be honest and say Russia will not join this format. We’ve got to create a platform to achieve three goals. The first is to keep Crimea on the international agenda. The second is to coordinate the efforts of the maximum number of participants, maintain the policy of non-recognition of the annexation of Crimea and the related sanctions policy against Russia. The third, a very important part, is to protect human rights on the occupied peninsula’, Kuleba said.
