On May 5, experts of our Association, Anna Prykhodko and Borys Babin, participated in the event devoted to the Council of Europe-Ukraine Action Plan 2023-2026, held in Kyiv, that demonstrated the project showcase with international partners.
The event gathered the representatives of Ukrainian authorities, non-governmental organizations, and national partners involved in the program of activities, as well as representatives from the Council of Europe.
According to the needs and priorities of Ukrainian partners, the Action Plan covered the key areas of cooperation and support within the targeted projects, implemented through the activities of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine.
The Action Plan covered a wide range of critical issues relevant to the development of the Ukrainian state and the protection of the human rights of Ukrainians during the war and post-war period.
The successful implementation of the Action Plan was confirmed by the participants at the meeting, who highlighted the importance of continuing to build on the results presented.
ARC experts exchanged opinions with other event participants on issues of the influence of the Action Plan’s projects, on processes of aid to displaced persons from Crimea, on issues of investigating the Russia-committed international crimes and other gross human rights violations, and on the mechanisms of the conflict-caused damage recovery.
ARC experts informed the event participants about our Association’s results and achievements during the last years, including related analytic and research studies published.
