At the end of May, the aggressor’s propaganda announced the opening of the so-called “large-scale wholesale and distribution warehouse” in the Simferopol village of Chystenke (Azhi-K’al), where both Sergey Aksyonov and Vladimir Konstantinov, as well as the chairman of the board of directors of the Krasnodar holding “Agrocomplex named after N. Tkachov” Alexander Tkachov “distinguished themselves”, and the funds for the warehouse were allegedly allocated as part of a “federal subsidy”, and the wholesale and distribution center itself was declared as a base for providing a network of stores controlled by the “Pud” concern.
We previously wrote that it was the former minister of agriculture of Russia and the Krasnodar “latifundist” Alexander Tkachov who has been operating the network of “Crimean” supermarkets “Pud” since 2022, located on the basis of the Ukrainian network “ATB”.
We also wrote about Tkachev’s control over the Crimean meat processing plant “Druzhba Narodov”, as well as about the connections of this structure, through common names, Yevgeny Nefidov and Viktor Golovko, as well as Muscovite Yan Zubrytsky and former “deputy chairman of the Simferopol district council” Boris Selyutin with “firms” from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, namely the “Mira” chain of stores, the “Telekanal 113” structures, “Olyva” and “Olyva Group”.
The aforementioned meat processing plant was also included in the “closed register of defense enterprises of the ministry of industry and trade” of the aggressor, as “the main executor of the state defense order, contractors and suppliers of the defense-industrial complex”.
Thus, it is obvious that the “logistics center” created by the aggressor is intended not so much to meet the “needs of the population” as the military structures of the occupiers, and food products will be delivered to it from the occupied Ukrainian mainland, using structures associated with Alexander Tkachov.
In this regard, it is worth adding that the “founders” of the Simferopol structure “Pud” with “director” Yevgeny Marymorovich, the former head of the retail department in the same “Agrocomplex”, are hidden in the “registers” of the aggressor, but they include the Marshall Islands offshore “Astrid Finance Inc”, which has appeared in Russian jurisdiction since 2017.
And therefore it is worth adding about the story with the Russian canned food manufacturer “Glavprodukt”, which began in 2024, belonged to the American “Universal Beverage Company”, the legal proceedings on the “nationalization” of which by the Kremlin ended in Moscow a month ago.
As the “Russian media” themselves wrote, the actual control over “Glavprodukt” was established a year ago by the above-described Crimean combine “Druzhba Narodov”, controlled by Tkachov, which passed through the “arbitration process on nationalization” as a “third party”.
Thus, the above-described new logistical steps of the occupiers to ensure the militarization of Crimea require both sanctions and other responses.
