The aggressor’s “Crimean” propaganda recently published another “good news” about a new place of unfreedom in Crimea, in the form of an “isolated area functioning as a correctional center” in the village of Yarke (Biy Suv Kovche) near Dzhankoy, for 65 people.
We previously wrote that the occupiers created similar “correctional centers” in Simferopol, for 95 people, and in Krasnogvardeyske (Kurman) for 282 prisoners.
The main practical purpose of the “centers” is to provide slave labor for a number of enterprises, for example, Simferopol prisoners are mainly employed at “Krymkhleb”, and Kurman prisoners are in the workshops of the agricultural firm “Druzhba Narodov Nova”.
And the motivation for the hasty creation of new “centers” is the systemic shortage of labor on the occupied peninsula, caused both by the recruitment of aggressors’ “cannon fodder” and by low salaries for loaders, drivers, janitors, and so on.
