On October 23, the occupiers “confirmed” the local collaborator Kirill Chebyshev in the criminal role of “head of the administration of the urban district of Sudak”, after which this “epochal news” is massively spread by the “Crimean media”, with an emphasis on the fact that the new town auleiter is allegedly a “veteran” of Russian aggression, with a set of “orders and medals”, both from the Kremlin and from the “Crimean authorities”.
The intensity of the occupiers’ propaganda is understandable: earlier we wrote about the Kremlin’s demands for a “frontline quota” for the “new Crimean authorities”, and Chebyshev is the only one of the current local Gauleiters “of the city level” allegedly with “frontline experience”.
However, the reality of this scam is much less “romantic”: Kirill Chebyshev is the son of the owner of the Sudak hotel “Uyut” Yuri Chebyshev, not so distant from the infamous Deich clan, and it was there that Chebyshev Jr. “made his mark as a director”, also “showing up” in the occupiers’ “traffic police”.
The son of the deceased head of this mafia formation Boris, Sergei Deich, now controls at least eight Crimean “companies”, in most cases together with the former deputy of the Crimean Verkhovna Rada Anatoly Sinyuk, in close connection with the Novinsky group.
Among other things, together with Elena Braude, they also control the Sudak water park “Vodny Mir”, and it was there that the future “veteran” Chebyshev was the “general director” for a long time. In September 2022, Chebyshev Jr. was made a “deputy of the Sudak City Council”, and then he allegedly “left for the front”, posting a selfie from Golaya Pristan and the “Kherson forests”.
However, since the end of the summer of 2023, Chebyshev Jr. has already “flashed in civilian clothes” in Sudak and in the Russian Federation at all sorts of occupier events, as a “veteran”, and with a “set of medals”.
It is also interesting that in September 2024, the same Chebyshev was carried through the “United Russia lists” to the occupiers’ “state council”, where he had already been declared in the “committee on patriotic education and youth policy”. Thus, the Crimean collaborators managed to “make an indicator of front-line soldiers” for the Kremlin on the “veteran from the water park” both in the “state council” and now “on the list of city heads”.
Was Chebyshev planned “for Sudak” right away, or, unlike the current “Yalta re-election” of Yanina Pavlenko, with bargaining between clans until the last moment – that’s an interesting question.
But it is much more noteworthy that another son of Boris Deich, as the “patron” of the Sudak Chebyshev family, Vladimir, together with his wife Tatyana and a certain Valery Drevitsky from Mariupol, are co-owners of the current Kyiv company “Podschipniksbyt”, and probably live in Kyiv.
Back in 2021, “Podschipniksbyt”, previously re-registered from Donetsk, supplied its products to “Energoatom” and “Ukrzaliznytsia”, and the net profit of the structure in 2023 amounted, as they write on social networks, to 9.6 million hryvnia.
