On August 19, Crimean gauleiter Sergei Aksyonov, quite unexpectedly for his entourage, published a set of photos with his “worst friend”, the infamous “Metropolitan of Simferopol and Crimea” Tikhon, and even about the “signing of a memorandum”.
This “fateful document” on the “creation of an autonomous non-profit organization “Revival of cultural heritage sites of the Republic of Crimea “Scythian Neapolis”” was previously lobbied by Tikhon in the Kremlin, from where he will be “supervised” by Deputy Head of Putin’s Administration Maxim Oreshkin.
It is highly probable that the tandem of Tikhon and Oreshkin has now become public after the previous PR scam with “New Chersonesus”, since these figures have now decided to “expand their planning horizons” after Oreshkin’s promotion in Putin’s hierarchy in May, after a certain “disgrace” that lasted several years.
Obviously, both of these careerists do not intend to stop in their current positions, and they understand perfectly well what kind of “Potemkin palaces” the Kremlin dictator will want to see from them.
The fact that the archaeological monument “Scythian Neapolis”, located on the cliffs above present-day Simfropol and abandoned as a city by the 3rd century AD, has nothing common with Christianity, that is Tikhon’s “current sphere of work”, does not bother the signatories of the memorandum by any way.
Aksyonov is now, to put it mildly, not in the “pre-election situation” to doubt Oreshkin’s “wise plans”, but Tikhon immediately declared that the new “autonomous non-profit organization” will enter all Crimean sites of interest to it, and will not limit itself to “Neapolis”.
In addition to the career-corruption component, this project will have the goal of directly rewriting the “history and modernity” of occupied Crimea to suit the “Russian world”, which, according to the criminal plan of Tikhon and Oreshkin, should reach “industrial proportions”.
