Earlier we wrote that in the fake “September local elections” of the occupied peninsula, the Crimean “authorities” are going down the path of “merging and absorbing” the fake “constructive opposition”, such as the “communists” and “LDPR”.
Moreover, Vladimir Konstantinov is trying to become the main demiurge of the “lists of winners” from “United Russia”, and in Sevastopol, the “monopoly of power” from the Razvozhaev clan may provide for a certain “quota” for “Slutsky’s people”.
In both places, they will begin drawing “results” as early as August 28 in the “preliminary vote”, and the Kremlin demands to depict a turnout of at least 55% and at least 75% “votes for United Russia”. Against this background, it is worth considering the “Crimean movements” of the new “pocket opposition”, in the form of the “New People” party, which the Kremlin “allowed” to the Duma seats in 2021, as a noteworthy fact.
At the end of May, the vice-speaker of the Duma from “New People”, sanctioned Vladislav Davankov, took a selfie in Simferopol with gauleiter Sergei Aksyonov, after which the party engaged in “active team building”, “registering” “150 candidates” on the occupied peninsula, and “exposing” Daniil Shupenya in the criminal role of “head of the Crimean branch of the party”.
This “young talent” who graduated from the university in 2020 was tested by the Russian special services in the role of “sports manager”, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup and “organization of the unofficial foolball championship among foreign embassies in Russia”, then he was “exposed” by “New People” in the unsuccessful elections to the State Duma in one of the Moscow districts.
Now, “to strengthen” Shupenya in Simferopol, the Duma deputy, former “opposition” mayor of Yakutsk Sardana Avksentyeva “held a tour” with a “presentation of the election program” “Crimea of the Future”.
This propaganda, devoid of any specifics and filled with rather meaningless appeals, is notable only for the fact that during its presentation, the “wise initiatives” of the “head of Crimea” were again talked about and it was stated that “despite the fact that he represents another party, we support him.” Thus, although neither the Kremlin, nor the Crimean collaborators, nor the “New People” themselves expect to receive any “deputy seats” on the peninsula, they all pursue their own goals in this scam.
The Crimean “authorities” were already faced with the consequences of the “cleansing of the traditional opposition” in the spring, when none of the “competitors” simply “registered as candidates” for the completely “hopeless September show”, and therefore the “biomass” from the “New People” is interesting to them precisely as an imitation of “political struggle” without any struggle and “competition” without any competition.
The Duma leadership of the “New People” is extremely interested in “Crimean PR” in the eyes of the Kremlin and “live contact” with Gauleiter Aksyonov; it is possible that it is through the “new opposition” that the latter will build both “pre-election” and “post-election” petty dirty tricks on his “worst friend” Konstantinov.
Well, the real owners of the “young talent” Shupenya from the Russian special services will receive, as a result of the “elections”, a wide range of inside information and compromising materials for subsequent “abundant milking” in the Crimean “corridors of power”, which will be the main “practical consequence” of the entire above-described variety show.
