At the end of December, aggressor-controlled “media” and “talking heads” began distributing extremely controversial “advertising” regarding “insurance against terrorism and sabotage, including drone attacks”, including “life, vehicles, apartments and houses,” and allegedly for “three thousand rubles” and with “payment of a million”. This “advertising” concerns the “”Gayde” Insurance Company” (or “Guideh Insurance Company JSC”), which really operates criminally in the occupied Crimea and has illegal “branches” in Simferopol and Sevastopol.
Let us note that this “business” is quite profitable for “insurers” since during two years of a large-scale war, all the explosions, “pops” and “bangs” in the occupied Crimea were not accompanied by large-scale destruction of non-military facilities and certainly did not cause casualties among the civilian population of the peninsula. However, the characters hiding behind the guise of this insurance company from St. Petersburg are quite interesting, with a subsidiary company “Gayde Medical Center”, founded as a limited liability company in February 1993, with a further string of co-founders in the form of the British “Fitzmaurice Management Ltd” and shareholders in the form of “TS Capital”, as well as “System Technologies”, “Khortytsya” and others, including Tatyana Gai.
Having declared criminal “Crimean branches”, “Gayde” received “permission to hide the founders” from the aggressor authorities; however, documents on insurer dividends published in 2020 say that Tatyana Gai owns 22.5% of the shares, and another 46.7% belongs to the “Modul” company, two-thirds of which is owned by Russian billionaire Alexander Altshuller, the husband of the same Gai. Also in 2021, it was reported that 10% of “Gayde” is owned by Andrey Savelyev, the brother of the majority shareholder and chairman of the board of Bank St. Petersburg, Alexander Savelyev.
Altshuller, in turn, is the key aggressor’s oligarch in the field of transport and forwarding activities and, among other things, Maersk is noted as a partner of “Module”. In addition, it was previously reported that “Fitzmaurice Management Ltd” may allegedly be associated with the British insurance system of corporations and insurers “Lloyd’s of London” as one of its insurance brokers. Let us note that in addition to the current announcements of “drone insurance,” “Gayde” is quite actively making money from the more banal insurance of property and vehicles of the aggressor’s illegal “enterprises, institutions and organizations” in the Crimea, making corresponding “insurance payments” and so on.
