As it was reported on August 21 by the international intelligence community “InformNapalm”, hackers of the “Cyber Resistance” team handed over the hacking of the correspondence of Russian deputy chairman of the State duma Alexander Babakov.
Investigators report that Babakov’s main area of responsibility, which became known after the study of materials, is the implementation of active measures and hybrid influence of Russia abroad at the parliamentary level.
The materials depict the role of “entrepreneur” and “Babakov’s assistant” Alexei Kakhidze, chairman of the board of directors of “Gazprom LNG Technology”, who uses Babakov to “expand the market” in Iran and Africa.
The investigators add that as of 2022, the Russian company “Zarubezhneft” continues, despite the sanctions, to build gas transportation infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the gas transportation system of this country, despite the sanctions, Russia plans to use Western turbines from “Siemens” and “Ansaldo”.
Let us recall that earlier we wrote a lot about the illegal supply of “Siemens” products to the occupied Crimea, and in this vein, Babakov’s close cooperation with the “International union of Russian compatriots”, which was specifically designed for hybrid influence and destabilization, is interesting.
“InformNapalm” points out that this structure was responsible for the criminal bringing of “observers” to the fake “Crimean referendum” and for the letter with Babakov’s petition to “reward” such “observers” on the “referendum anniversary”.
Also in the correspondence there are traces of Babakov’s attempts to attract “more foreigners” to the Crimea through this “union of compatriots”, including illegal “Greek investments and business”, and his attempts to bring Russians living in the West to Crimea allegedly “for treatment”.
