As some media reported one of the Donald Trump’s co-conspirators in his failed coup after losing to Joe Biden by 7 million votes in the 2020 election appears to be Boris Epshteyn, a “Russian-American Republican political strategist, investment banker, and attorney”. Now Epshteyn seems to be in group of six persons who will get suspicion from U.S.’s prosecutors.
Epshteyn was born in 1982 in Moscow, andn 1993, his family immigrated as a refugees to Plainsboro Township, New Jersey.
In October 2013, Epshteyn moderated a panel at the investment conference “Invest in Moscow!”. The panel was composed mainly of Moscow city government officials, including Sergey Cheremin, a city minister who heads Moscow’s foreign economic and international relations department.
Let us remind that this chair and activities was directly connected with elderly Russian spy Georgyi Muradov who was directly included in aggressor’s provocations in Balkans and later in the occupied Crimea.
So it is not surprising that in July, 2016 where Boris Epshteyn repeated in interview to CNN illegal Russian narratives regarding Crimea and later this video has been wiped off of the Internet. Later Epshteyn wrote Trump’s controversial statement for Holocaust Remembrance Day in January 2017, which omitted any mention of the Jewish people and started sharp criticism in American society.
Boris Epshteyn was a strategic advisor on the Donald Trump 2020 presidential campaign and has remained a close advisor to Trump in his post-presidency. Epshteyn worked with Rudi Giuliani in December 2020 to persuade Republican officials in seven states to prepare certificates of ascertainment for slates of “alternate electors” loyal to Trump, which would be presented for certification.
After Trump left office, Epshteyn established a close relationship with the former president and has advised him to pursue a confrontational rather than a conciliatory approach toward those investigating Trump. So modern ongoing U.S. investigation against this person seems extremely painful to aggressor’s intelligence services.
