As the Russian invaders are forced to admit, the illegal “Crimean Railway” “terminated the contract” for the design of the Sevastopol city electric train, stating that the work allegedly “was completed by 80%.”
“Infrastructure design” for the allegedly future electric train “Petersburg State University of Communications” allegedly began back in 2021, but as of May 2023, it did not provide the “customer” with the “final result” for which 130 million rubles were written off.
It is noteworthy that the “reason for the delay” was Russian “designers”, among other things, allegedly “design solutions … had to be coordinated with the VAD company, which is engaged in its own project in the Gagarinsky district of the city”, which “became impossible” until 2023.
Let us recall that hundreds of billions of “federal target programs” were used in favor of those close to the Kremlin dictator through the said “VAD”, controlled by oligarch Arkady Rotenberg, who is close to Putin, during the years of the occupation of Crimea. At the same time, the “electric train project” is not excluded from this “program” and most likely they will launder funds on it without the participation of St. Petersburg “designers”.
Against this background, the statement of the government of the aggressor on May 31 about the “creation”, on the model of the criminal “Crimean Railway”, of the illegal “federal state unitary enterprise” “Railways of Novorossiya”, in which the aggressor illegally included the railway property of “Ukrzaliznytsia” in occupied parts of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Lugansk and Kherson regions.
